Fly Casting Videos
Always wanted to learn how to fly fish but it looks too complicated? Or, you have been fly casting for years and could use some instruction to improve your casting technique? Wonder why you keep getting "wind" knots? It is not because of the wind. It is because you aren't dropping your elbow on the forward cast... I know because I do it a lot when I try to "power" an extra long cast. Here is a excellent video by Joan Wulff that shows the basics of fly casting. Orvis Fly Fishing Video Lessons
Orvis has an excellent "Fly Fishing Learning Center". It contains 15 chapters plus an advance section that takes you through all aspects of fly fishing. Please see the below video example: "How to Set Up Droppers" (taken from the Advance section). You can learn at your own pace. Watch a chapter or part of a chapter, then leave a bookmark and either go out and practice your casting or go fishing!
